KVES operates as a CWB Accredited Virtual Test Centre, combining advanced technology with professional on-site supervision to provide a secure, efficient, and nationally recognized welding qualification testing experience.
Each welding test is completed at our Kitimat facility under the supervision of an experienced CWB Welding Supervisor, who oversees the testing process, verifies compliance with CWB requirements, and ensures testing is conducted safely and consistently.
During the test, a CWB Welding Inspector joins remotely through CWB's secure virtual testing platform to observe the qualification process in real time. Once the test is complete, the inspector evaluates the completed weld to determine whether it meets the applicable CWB acceptance criteria. This collaborative approach ensures every test is conducted and assessed in accordance with the same rigorous national standards expected at any CWB Accredited Test Centre.
