Our services help you comply with safety regulations and extend the life of your gear, keeping your operations safe and efficient.

Our Inspection Services Cover:

  • Harness Inspections: Detailed assessment of webbing, stitching, hardware, and identification tags to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Shock Absorbing Lanyards: Comprehensive checks for wear and damage, including snap hook performance and tag legibility.
  • Synthetic Rope Lanyards: Full inspection of rope fibers, splices, and fittings to detect any potential issues that could impact safety.
  • Webbing Lanyards: Evaluation of webbing integrity, abrasion resistance, and stitching for continued usability.
  • Wire Rope Lanyards: Meticulous inspection for broken strands, rust, or deformation to maintain fall protection effectiveness..

What we do

Our inspections are conducted by a competent person—someone qualified and certified to inspect fall protection equipment but not actively using it. This impartiality is a requirement under CSA standards and ensures a thorough, unbiased evaluation.

Note: No maintenance or repairs are performed during the inspection. If your equipment is dirty, additional cleaning fees may apply.

Inspection Frequency

The frequency of inspections depends on the environment in which the equipment is used:

Online courses are offered by BIS Training and not by Kitamaat Valley Education Society. Students will
register and pay course fees directly to BIS Training. These online courses do not require approval under the Private Training Act; A student may not file a claim against the fund with the trustee in respect to the course or program of instruction.
